1. Who I am
Polka Cake Studio ApS, CVR 46758730, Ørestads Boulevard 37F 3.th., is responsible for the personal data you share with me. If you have any questions about your data, write to me at polkacake.studio@gmail.com.
2. What I collect
When you send an enquiry: your name (and your partner's name for a wedding), your email, your phone number if you choose to give it, the date and venue, the number of guests, your budget if you share it, and what you tell me about your celebration, including inspiration photos.
Allergies and dietary needs: if you tell me about an allergy, I use it only to make your cake safe.
When you order: the delivery address and the details of your bank transfer (name, amount, date). I never see or store card details.
When you sign up for Tasting Box Day emails: your email address.
3. Why I use it
To answer your enquiry, prepare your quote, and make and deliver your cake. This is needed to fulfil our agreement.
To take your allergies into account. I do this only with your consent.
To keep invoices and payment records, as Danish bookkeeping law requires.
To send you news about Tasting Box Days, only if you have signed up. Every email has a link to unsubscribe.
To share photos of you or your guests, only with your consent.
4. Who I share it with
I never sell your data. I use a few services to run the studio: Tally for the enquiry form, Notion for my orders, Gmail for email, [MailerLite] for Tasting Box Day emails and [website platform] for this website. My accountant and my bank also see the details they need.
Some of these services are based in the USA. Your data is protected there by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the EU's standard contractual clauses.
5. How long I keep it
Messages, order details, allergy information and inspiration photos: one year after your celebration, or one year after your last message if you didn't place an order.
Invoices and payment records: five years from the end of the financial year, as Danish law requires.
Tasting Box Day emails: until you unsubscribe.
6. Cookies
This website uses only the cookies it needs to work.
7. Social media
My website links to my Instagram, Pinterest and Facebook. When you open them, their own privacy policies apply.
8. Your rights
You can ask to see the data I hold about you, correct it, delete it, limit how I use it, object to its use or receive a copy. You can withdraw your consent at any time. Write to me at polkacake.studio@gmail.com and I'll reply within one month.
9. Complaints
If you think I'm not handling your data correctly, you can contact Datatilsynet, the Danish Data Protection Agency (datatilsynet.dk).
10. Changes
If I change this policy, I'll update the date at the top of this page.
